Angel emoji and what they mean
😇 SMILING FACE WITH HALO is the go-to angel emoji. It means innocence, being good or feeling blessed, and it is just as often used jokingly, as in "who, me? 😇". 👼 BABY ANGEL is a cherub with wings, popular at Christmas, for babies and for calling someone sweet. Both have been emoji since Unicode 6.0 in 2010.
🪽 WING arrived in 2022, so older phones may not show it. 🕊︎ is the dove, a symbol of peace and, in Christian art, of the Holy Spirit. 🧚 is a fairy, and clouds ☁︎, sparkles ✨︎ and the white heart 🤍 complete a heavenly look.
Angel text faces and halos
Before emoji, the angel was the emoticon O:) or 0:-), where the O is a halo above the eyes. Kaomoji fans draw angels with wings instead. In ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭, ଘ is the Odia letter gha, which looks like a wing, and ੭ is the Gurmukhi digit seven, which looks like a waving arm.
For wings around any symbol, use the hieroglyph pair 𓆩 𓆪 from the angel wings symbol page, or the smaller ʚ ɞ from wings symbols.
Angelic names and bios
Soft, light symbols suit an angel theme: 🤍 ☁︎ ✧ 𓆩𓆪. White, gold and pastel blue emoji such as 🤍 ✨︎ 🩵 match it better than bright colors. Write your name in script letters with the cursive text generator and frame it with wings, like 𓆩 𝓐𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓵 𓆪.
Many people also add "angel numbers" such as 111, 222 or 444 to their bios. That idea comes from numerology, not from Unicode, but the digits paste like any other text.
