Cursive letters made of Unicode
The two main styles use the Mathematical Script and Mathematical Bold Script letters from Unicode. Mathematicians use script capitals for named objects, such as โ for the Laplace transform and โ for the Hamiltonian, but their loops also make everyday words look like calligraphy. You can browse single cursive letters too.
Unlike real cursive handwriting, the letters do not join up. Each one is a separate character, so the result reads as elegant script rather than connected writing. That is also why it pastes cleanly into an Instagram or TikTok bio, an X display name, a Discord nickname or a game name.
Why some cursive letters look different
Eleven letters of the regular script set were in Unicode before the math block was added, in the Letterlike Symbols block: โฌ โฐ โฑ โ โ โ โณ โ and the lowercase โฏ โ โด. The generator uses them, and some fonts draw them in a slightly different size or weight than their neighbors.
If a name like โฐ๐๐๐ถ looks uneven on your phone, switch to bold cursive (๐๐ถ๐ถ๐ช). Its alphabet has no gaps, so every letter comes from the same set. Regular script has no digits either, so numbers stay plain, while bold cursive uses bold digits.
Frames and readability
The sparkles style wraps your text in โ๏ฝกยฐโฉ โฉยฐ๏ฝกโ and the wings style in ๊งเผบ เผป๊ง, a frame often seen in game names. ๊ง and ๊ง are Javanese punctuation marks and เผบ เผป are Tibetan marks, borrowed purely for their shape. For more, browse wings symbols and sparkle symbols.
Script is hard to read in long sentences, especially on small screens, and screen readers may read each letter by its Unicode name. Use it for a name or a short phrase. For a darker, gothic look, try the Old English text generator.
